Description
This is a delightful three bedroom upside down house, with the bedrooms on the ground floor to take full advantage of the views on offer.
The property is entered by descending a short staircase to a sunken courtyard.
On entry you find the three bedrooms, the master, which is king size with ensuite, has direct access to the gated front courtyard.
The other two bedrooms are currently configured as good sized twins and share a guest bathroom.
The first floor houses the large, open and airy lounge, kitchen and diner with access to a third bathroom.
The lounge/diner is a good space that has been elegantly furnished to a very high standard.
The views from the lounge through the almost floor-to-ceiling windows are over a small area of Lagos down to the coast, affording limited sea views.
These views only improve once you set foot outside onto the sheltered terrace - a great place to relax after a hard day exploring.
Otherwise, just chill out whilst soaking up the view before a night out in the town of Lagos.
The top floor is a half open, half covered private terrace with a fitted barbecue kitchen and counter plus ample space for four sunbeds.
The views across Lagos to the Atlantic from the terrace are excellent if you can drag yourself from that cool drink on the sunbed - so sea views throughout the day and the twinkling lights of Lagos at night.
A visit to the modern marina with its kiosks where you can book a kayak safari, fishing trip or just a trip to discover the rugged coastline and a large selection of bars and restaurants is a peaceful 15 minute walk away, or less than 4 minutes by car.
Cross the bridge next to the marina and you’re in the old town of Lagos with its narrow winding streets and huge selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, offering cuisine from around the world, and its town square - a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike, with its cafes and street performers.
If the beach is more your cup of tea, a 10 to 15 minute stroll down the foot path in front of the townhouse will find you on one of Lagos’ 2 beautiful sandy beaches. Only 20 minutes by car to the Autódromo Internacional, where the Portuguese Grand Prix is hosted.
