This beautiful ‘upside down’ townhouse is split over three floors, with plenty of outdoor terraces to take full advantage of the views on offer and hideouts to soak up the Algarvian sun in peace. Set in a quiet area, this property is just a 15-20 minute walk from Meia Praia beach, and 20 minute walk from Lagos marina, shops and all that Lagos has to offer.
This property is accessed via the middle floor into the bright and airy living area which has an earthy decor and calming navy tones, with unique quirky wicker ornamental pieces, a large comfortable L-shaped sofa, high end TV, a dining set for 6 and slouchy rocking chair set by the high tech fireplace. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with all you need for a stress-free self-catering holiday, including a dishwasher. There is also a WC on this floor. Step through the patio doors onto a spacious terrace with slouchy deck chairs to enjoy your morning coffee and watch the sun-rise over Lagos and the nearby Meia Praia beach.
On the lower floor you find the master king size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, and a well-sized double which is currently configured as twin beds and serviced by a family bathroom. Both rooms are decorated in soft neutral tones and have direct access to the gated front private courtyard through glass patio French doors where there are sun loungers for catching the early morning sun. From this courtyard you can either pass through the gates to the communal pool area or ascend the outside staircase back to the living area and middle terrace.
The top terrace, accessed via the inside staircase from the living area, has breathtaking views over the city of Lagos and distant ocean. It has ample outdoor seating for evening entertainment under the stars and a further dining set for al fresco meals in the warm evenings. There is a further smaller ‘kitchen’ area which has another dishwasher, a sink and preparation stations, to simplify the outdoor dining experience.
The modern Lagos marina has a large selection of bars and restaurants and several kiosks where you can book a boating trip to discover the rugged coastline. Cross the bridge from the marina and you’re in the old town of Lagos, with its narrow winding streets and rich culture, offering cuisine from around the world and huge selection of shops. The main town square is a popular meeting place for locals and visitors alike, with its cafes and street performers.
