Why is checkout 10am
Checkout time for our properties is 10am, which allows our cleaners to enter the property after you leave and clean it time for future guests.
Is it possible to checkout later than 10am?
During quieter periods, we may be able to extend your checkout to 12pm depending on arrivals and our cleaners availability. If you require the apartment after 12pm then this would be chargeable as an additional night stay.
What happens if something goes wrong while I am staying?
Ideal Homes Rentals prides itself on having personal representatives on hand and available throughout the entire region to meet each and every one of our holiday guests upon arrival at their chosen property, and assist with any queries or concerns that may arise whilst on vacation here in the Algarve.
Ideal Homes Rentals is brought to you by our experienced team of professionals, who have spent many years in the Algarve. Once you have booked your holiday with us, one of our team who live in the local area will contact you personally by email prior to your arrival and arrange to meet you at your chosen property. You will be given their mobile number to call should you have any problems during your stay so they can resolve these for you as quickly as possible.
A damage deposit will be required when you book your holiday, and will be refunded to you 7 business days after your departure and following a satisfactory inspection of the property. If any damages are found, you will be notified.
Please let us know if anything gets broken, damaged or worn out! It is understandable that accidents can happen and items get past their best. If you tell us we can fix/replace things as soon as possible so that future guests are not inconvenienced.
Why do you need my passport details?
It is a legal requirement that anyone providing holiday accommodation must record entry and exit identification details for all non-Portuguese nationals who use the accommodation regardless of age.
When you make a reservation with us we are required to report your presence to SEF authorities. We will make this as smooth as possible for you and collect all information ahead of your arrival, so that once you arrive in the Algarve you can just enjoy your holiday.

Why is it important to leave a review after my stay?
Here at Ideal Homes Rentals, we really want to hear what you think, so we can continue to improve our service. We would love to hear about your stay, and what made it special. This will also help our future guests when they are booking with us. If you feel there are things we could improve on, please talk to your representative about any issues or contact our head office at email@example.com.
How often will the property be cleaned?
All of our properties are self-catering. If you are staying for 11 nights or more you will have a complementary mid stay light clean, including changeover of linen and towels. Your representative will advise you of the day and time that the cleaning service will call.
Does the property allow smoking?
All our properties operate a no smoking policy inside the property.
What is your cancellation policy?
We operate a standard no refund policy, however act on a case by case basis considering individual circumstances at the time of cancellation.
What methods of Payment do you have?
You are able to pay online via credit card or bank transfer.
Can I bring a pet?
Some of our properties do allow pets on a case by case basis, however additional cleaning charges would apply. Please ask in advance and we will confirm if it’s possible and inform you of any additional cost that would be incurred.
