Just like the white storks, you too will love the Algarve! These white storks love the beaches here so much that it is the only place in the world you will find them nesting on cliffs rather than inland- and can you blame them! Lagos is home to some of the most beautiful turquoise beaches that are bound to make everyone happy. There are plenty of hidden coves to sunbathe on, rugged beaches for the explorers and beaches with surf for the more adventurous. And most are surrounded by towering cliffs of course.
After a big day at the beach or nearby golf course, storks need to eat and Lagos has a lot to offer. Walking distance from the nest is countless options such as authentic Portuguese restaurants where you can sample fresh fish and cafes that serve some of the best espresso and pastries. There are also many bars where you can get the local experience while having a cold beer.
From the nest- which is big enough for the whole family- you have views of the beautiful marina to your left and from the back.
We guarantee you will be as happy as the storks here in beautiful Lagos.
